How to do it

  1. 1Attach a straight bar or rope to a high cable pulley.
  2. 2Stand facing the machine, grip the attachment with both hands.
  3. 3Keep your upper arms pinned to your sides.
  4. 4Push down until your arms are fully extended, then return with control.

Tips

  • *Don't let your elbows flare out or drift forward.
  • *Squeeze hard at the bottom for peak contraction.
  • *Use the rope attachment to spread your hands apart at the bottom.
