How to do it

  1. 1Stand facing a high cable with a straight bar or rope.
  2. 2Keep your arms straight with a slight elbow bend.
  3. 3Pull the bar down in an arc to your thighs.
  4. 4Return with control, feeling the stretch in your lats.

Tips

  • *Great lat isolation exercise — feel the stretch at the top.
  • *Don't bend your elbows — this isn't a pushdown.
  • *Hinge slightly at the hips for better range of motion.
