How to do it
- 1Stand on the calf raise machine with the pads on your shoulders.
- 2Place the balls of your feet on the platform with heels hanging off.
- 3Raise up onto your toes as high as possible.
- 4Lower your heels below the platform for a full stretch.
Tips
- *Full range of motion is key — stretch at the bottom, squeeze at the top.
- *Hold the top for 1-2 seconds for maximum contraction.
- *Calves recover fast — high reps (15-25) and high frequency work best.
