How to do it

  1. 1Lie on a flat bench holding an EZ bar with arms extended above your chest.
  2. 2Lower the bar toward your forehead by bending at the elbows.
  3. 3Keep your upper arms stationary.
  4. 4Extend your arms back to the starting position.

Tips

  • *Lower the bar to your forehead or slightly behind your head.
  • *Don't let your elbows flare out wide.
  • *Use a spotter or keep the weight moderate — you're above your face.
