How to do it

  1. 1Sit at the lat pulldown machine with thighs secured under the pads.
  2. 2Grip the bar wider than shoulder width with an overhand grip.
  3. 3Pull the bar down to your upper chest.
  4. 4Return the bar up with control.

Tips

  • *Don't lean way back — a slight lean is fine.
  • *Pull your elbows down and back, not just your hands.
  • *Squeeze your lats at the bottom of each rep.
