How to do it

  1. 1Stand on the hack squat platform with your back against the pad.
  2. 2Place your feet shoulder-width apart, slightly forward on the platform.
  3. 3Release the safety and lower yourself until your thighs are parallel.
  4. 4Push back up to the starting position.

Tips

  • *Great quad builder with less lower back stress than free squats.
  • *Narrower stance hits outer quads, wider hits inner.
  • *Go deep — the machine supports your back.
