How to do it

  1. 1Stand holding a barbell in front of you with arms extended.
  2. 2Shrug your shoulders straight up toward your ears.
  3. 3Squeeze at the top, then lower with control.

Tips

  • *Don't roll your shoulders — straight up and down only.
  • *Hold the squeeze at the top for 1-2 seconds.
  • *Use straps if grip gives out before traps do.
