How to do it

  1. 1Stand holding a barbell with an underhand grip, hands shoulder-width apart.
  2. 2Curl the bar up toward your shoulders, keeping your upper arms stationary.
  3. 3Squeeze at the top, then lower with control.

Tips

  • *Don't swing your body — if you need momentum, the weight is too heavy.
  • *Keep your elbows pinned to your sides.
  • *Use an EZ bar if straight bar hurts your wrists.
